The Kaizen Sushi Bar’s Wine and Champagne Philosophy:
Kaizen Sushi Bar & Restaurant has enjoyed a long tradition
of providing their Patrons with the most exotic combination
of flavours and the freshest offerings of foods in Montreal,
and endeavours to employ the same approach towards our
selection of Wines. We pride ourselves in discovering
and stocking wines that will not only compliment our foods
but enhance the experience of dining with us at the Kaizen
Sushi Bar. By sourcing a mondial selection of wines from
Austria, Australia, France, Spain, Germany, South Africa,
North and South America and Japan for our wine cellars
and carte du vin, we at Kaizen Sushi Bar are pleased to
invite our guests to explore the exciting grapes, blends,
styles and vintages of both old world and new. We believe
that with wine, as it is with food, the journey is tied
to a delicate balance between the mind and the physical
senses, the soul and the spirit, the anticipation and
the reward, of which the key to all is one’s enjoyment!
All About Sake at Kaizen Sushi Bar:
Ah, sake. Once an enigmatic beverage inaccessible to so
many of the western world, sake has begun to find its
place alongside the best of alcohols in the greatest of
eateries. With new brewing techniques and a greater market
appeal, the world and vocabulary of sakes has become as
vast as that of wines and we at Kaizen Sushi Bar hope
to help our patrons develop the tools to unravel these
marvellous tangents of taste that so handsomely compliment
the foods we are famous for serving in our dining rooms.
Kaizen endeavours to impart to its patrons that while
hot sake is a great way to warm oneself from the harshness
of Montreal winters, the flavours of hot sake only represents
a small fraction from a Japanese culture that prides itself
on an artful balance of flavours and textures. Since its
establishment Kaizen has pushed itself to search for different
and exciting sakes from around the globe and prides itself
on its successful path of “pursuit and procurement”
of the largest selection of premium Sakes available to
us. This is represented by the depth of selections in
styles, vintages and the broad range of grades in our
cellars. This pursuit enables our “Carte Du Sake”
the ability to offer our Patrons the opportunity to explore
the ranges of the likes of a smoothness of a “Demon
Slayer” to the sweet silkiness of Nigori sakes,
or the refined delicate nature of DaiGinjo sakes, to the
savoury flavours of our aged Koshu sakes.
